Warshaw Group is a dynamic software company that specializes in the development of data collection and workflow software solutions with a focus on mobile systems and backend database integration. We currently have an opportunity for an individual to join our growing team in the role of Database Developer/Analyst to provide project support to large clients. You will work with smart, no-nonsense developers who move quickly and get things done, in a fast paced team oriented environment.
The primary role of this position requires the following key components/skills:
• STRONG analytical and problem solving skills – someone able to think analytically and enjoys finding solutions to technical challenges
• Proficient SQL skills for medium to large scale database analysis efforts
• Adept reporting skills to maintain existing reports and development of new reports within existing quality control procedures
• Good organizational and documentation skills for individual software development assignments. This includes being able to plan, maintain attention to details, be diligent in ensuring accuracy and meeting critical project deadlines.
• Willingness to demonstrate competence in the balance of being a team player, working independently as a problem solver and ability to achieve quality results in a timely fashion.

Requires 1-2 years’ demonstrated experience with the following technologies:
- Server Database (such as Oracle, MS SQL);
- Reporting (such as Crystal Reports, MS Reporting Services, Excel);
- Experience extracting and manipulating data from relational databases using SQL statements;
- XML/XSLT;
- VB.NET or C# .NET – not required but a plus.
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Science, Engineering, Math or equivalent
- Oracle or MS certification or training through Oracle or MS-certified institution not required but is a plus.
